Kate has always believed that an organized environment can have a powerful impact on a person’s daily life, stress level, and overall well-being. Before becoming a professional organizer, she worked as an elementary school teacher, where she quickly learned how much thoughtfully designed systems and functional spaces can support focus, calm, productivity, and independence. Today, she brings that same patient, encouraging, and highly individualized approach to every organizing project she takes on.
Kate specializes in helping clients create peaceful, functional, and aesthetically pleasing homes through customized organizing systems that are realistic and easy to maintain. She particularly enjoys working with seniors, individuals experiencing challenging disorganization, and neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and executive functioning challenges. Her calm, supportive demeanor helps clients feel comfortable and understood throughout the organizing process, even when projects feel emotionally or physically overwhelming.
With a strong eye for design and functionality, Kate excels at transforming cluttered or chaotic spaces into homes that feel lighter, calmer, and more intentional. Whether organizing closets, kitchens, bedrooms, or entire homes, she focuses on creating systems that simplify everyday life while still reflecting each client’s personality and lifestyle.
Kate tries to live by William Morris’ famous maxim: “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be beautiful or believe to be useful.” Having personally lived and worked in multiple states, she understands firsthand the challenges that come with moving, downsizing, decluttering, and setting up new spaces. She enjoys helping clients navigate those transitions while creating homes that feel organized, welcoming, and manageable.
Known for her attention to detail, Kate loves labels, color-coded to-do lists, and practical organizing systems that help clients maintain long-term success. Her teaching background also gives her a unique ability to break overwhelming projects into smaller, achievable steps, making the process feel approachable and empowering.
Kate holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY Geneseo. When she’s not organizing, she enjoys yoga, reading, knitting, interior design inspiration, and watching home renovation shows on HGTV.
