Meet the Organizer: Cheryl DiCiero.

At Organizing Boston, we work very closely with our clients, spending time in your personal space and getting to know you and your family very well. Here, we would like to give you the opportunity to get to know our Professional Organizers better, so you will be comfortable letting us into your homes and lives and help guide you with your organizing journey.

Organizer’s Name: Cheryl

How long have you been a Professional Organizer?

Professionally for about a year, but I have been organizing friends and family for years.

Why did you want to become a Professional Organizer?

I have always had a love for organizing and to be able to help other people get organized is such a good feeling.  It’s not like work at all.

What is your favorite part about being a Professional Organizer?

Definitely the clients.  It’s so great to meet different people from different walks of life.  I might be helping them to get organized but, I am learning so much from them as well.

What is your favorite thing to organize?

Offices and kitchens

Share one of your favorite organizing tips.

I love magnets and Velcro.  My favorite tip is to put a magnetic bar behind your medicine cabinet door and attached all your little metal implements to it.  I have my nail clippers, metal nail files, cuticle clippers and anything else that will stick to it on mine.

Tell us about a successful organizing project.

I moved a company a couple of years ago and my favorite part was setting up the new space before the employees arrived for their first day there.  I loved preparing the break room and setting up the supply room. It was very satisfying when I was done.

Tell us about your family.

I have been married to Tony for 35 years and I have three children Angela, Marissa & Mike and 2 awesome sons-in-law but I have to say that the light of my life is my grand-daughter Grace.  She is 3 1/2 and she really is my Amazing Grace!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to play the violin.   I started about 5 years ago and I am still working at it.  Maybe someday I will even let someone listen to me. I love to read and spend time with my family.
